Ed Thomas
VP, Product Management
Ed Thomas brings twelve years of conferencing experience to Remote Control Partners as well as an additional 15 years of product management experience in multiple high tech roles. He has been instrumental in designing and launching various conferencing solutions including audio, video and web collaboration solutions. He led development teams who developed unified communication solutions for enterprise customers that included voice messaging, conferencing and auto attendant components.
He was instrumental in assisting British Telecom in launching one of the first unattended audio conferencing offerings. He worked closely with Sprint Conferencing and Genesys Conferencing to rollout various conferencing services.
Ed comes to Remote Control from ThinkEngine Networks where, as Director of Product Management, he led a team of developers in designing conferencing solutions for medium sized service providers. Prior to ThinkEngine Networks, Ed held similar positions at Iperia, IP Unity and Voyant (later purchased by Polycom).
